The CTWoodcarvers are a group of woodcarving enthusiasts of all skill levels dedicated to the art and safe use of tools used to create images in wood.  Some carve for competition! Some carve just to create what they see in the wood! Some carve for what they see in their mind!  All phases of the art are covered.

Membership includes prize-winning carvers and learners.  Our monthly meetings are usually held at the Connecticut Forest and Park Association building on Route 66 in Middletown.  At our meetings we have presentations by members of carving techniques, tips, and projects.

We are often asked to participate in events of other groups and businesses--watch our Calendar page.

We have an annual show at the New England Carousel Museum in Bristol.

New woodcarvers are welcome.  Our meeting dates and directions to events are listed on the Calendar page.  Pictures from events are displayed on the Carvings page.  Members are always willing to help new woodcarvers.   Come and carve with us before joining.
